Subject: RTÃ Player Access Feedback Session on Thursday 23rd June
We will be holding our first Access RTÃ Player Feedback sessions since the
pandemic on Thursday 23rd June.
· The morning session (10am to 12pm) will be for Deaf and Hard of
Hearing users. There will be ISL and speech-to-text for this session.
· The afternoon session will be for Blind and Visually Impaired (2pm
to 4pm).
Users will be able to attend in person in RTÃ or online. You can attend by
filling out this form and you can share the link with another user who you
feel would be interested in particpating in the sesson.
The session will feature a presentation from the RTÃ Player team about
existing and future access features which they are developing.
We want to know what your present experience is navigating and using the RTÃ
Player to access content with Subtitles, ISL or Audio Description. We also
want to know how you feel this service could be improved and we want to share
with you how we plan to improve the service so you can give us your feedback.
The form will allow you to share any issues or thoughts you may have
beforehand so we can cover those on the day.
For health and safety reasons we are restricted in the number of people we
are allowed to invite onsite, so please fill out the form as soon as
possible. We are hoping to have a larger number participating online.
Thanks for your help in either participating in this feedback session or
letting others know about it. Itâs important that all users, be they deaf,
hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired have their say when it comes to
developing and improving the RTÃ Player,
