Hi gang,
For those of you missing BBC Radio 5 live during the Olympics, the
following may be a work around. This relates to a PC, in my case
using Jaws and Firefox. It should also work on mobile phones and
tablets; but I have yet to try it.
The following link will bring you to a London based online radio,
which can be tuned by several users independently.

After a few seconds you should hear audio, and perhaps a number read
by your screen reader. This is the frequency to which the radio is
tuned. If you hear something like "enter your name or call sign," tab
until you ear a number.
Type 909 and press ENTER. You should then hear BBC 5 live a couple of
seconds later.
You might like to live dangerously, and enter 648 in order to hear
Radio Caroline!

PS: In Firefox, you can silence an audio stream by using the toggle
Control F7. This can be useful if you need to hear your screen
reader.

Thank you for your email. I'm sorry you're unable to listen to BBC Radio
Jersey at the moment.
For the duration of the Olympics, online listening is limited to audiences
in the UK and Crown Dependencies only due to restrictions on Olympic
content. The International Olympic Committee doesn't allow international
broadcast of Olympic audio on local BBC radio. We're likely to be featuring
reports from the Olympics as we're lucky enough to have local competitors at
the games.

I have enjoyed listening to Radio Jersey daily, since visiting the island

I was very surprised last Friday morning, To find I was unable to do
so via the usual apps and devices. I noticed the same applied to many other
BBC local radio stations; with the exception of BBC Radio Stoke. The
looped announcement mentioned "contractual obligations or technical
issues," but made no mention of a change in policy.
As I have not seen any explanation, I would appreciate it if you could
possibly throw some light on the matter.
