Yes Thats why I mentioned that. The keypad needs its own Wi-Fi that is
plugged into a port of your modem. There must be a port on your modem by
default. Might be hopefully hidden under a slot.

the modem and a power socket. The controller/keypad works on batteries and
can be installed anywhere. Setup is unfriendly so get the installer to do
the heavy lifting like hive id code and set you up. If you have some
vision left the actual and set temperatures are bright white on the keypad.
The iPhone app has an orange or blue backgrounds for the temperature dial
and can be hard for me. So I use Siri. I tested voice over and it sounds
very accessible. I had linked to apple HomeKit to get Siri working. Hope
this is useful.
