Here is my suggestion open accessibility settings, select voice over, scroll
down to quick settings. Scroll down to always speak notifications. If it
says selected do nothing. if it does not double tap it, it should say
selected now, If it is selected tap with two fingers 4 times to bring up a
menu the option to turn off always speak notifications will be in there turn
this setting off.

I have updated to IOS 16,and it is running well. The only problem I have is
when I receive a text or WhatsApp message on the locked screen, the entire
text of the message is red out.I am using voiceover on iPhone 13.I would
appreciate any suggestions to stop this.
