Hi Everybody
Would anybody have a soccer ball that is used by visually impaired people
that I could have a loan of for a couple of weeks
I recently did a talk in a Community School in Swords with Transition Year
students and one of the questions that came up was about the kind of sports
that blind and visually impaired people get involved in
Then we moved onto things like do blind and visually impaired people attend
games in Croke Park or across the water in Anfield or Old Trafford
I said yes and that I was in all three venues at different times in my life
and then the lads and girls started talking about been blind folded and
playing a game of soccer
Not sure how we would be fixed with insurance said one of the teachers
laughing but for sure great fun idea and it could give the lads and girls a
little inside to the life of somebody that has a sight problem and having a
little fun at the same time.
If anybody has such a ball to loan or know somebody that has one I could
