Sadly Voiceover takes many abbreviations and expands them into the American
state that is represented by the two letters.
In this case, the real expression is
wi-FI is on. The message indicates that your live weather app is using WIFI
weather to deliver results.

Good evening all!
I noticed today on my SE 3 in the native weather app, VoiceOver says, "WI-FI
OFF IMAGE". And it never said that before. So I'm just wondering has anyone
else experienced this? I've deleted the app and redownloaded it and it's
still saying it. I've checked all Settings and navigation style is set to
"FLAT". And WI-FI is on.
