Welcome to the 8th meeting of our Working Age Forum. The forum is a place where
people of a working age in Ireland who are blind or partially sighted can meet,
network, organise and learn from each other.
The Working Age Forum is a member-led network which meets online via Zoom. It
serves to connect people who are blind and visually impaired with each other to
offer and benefit from peer support. Regardless of what stage of employment you
are in - whether finding your first job, already working, looking to rejoin the
workforce after some time out, or retired - you are welcome to join our online
sessions which are held on the last Tuesday of every second month and are free
of charge.
Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday May 31st 6-7:15pm.
This month, we are delighted to welcome Pepe Macias as our guest speaker who
will join us live from Mexico to share his insights as a trainer, facilitator,
coach, and business owner, and his own journey of sight loss. Pepe is a life
and executive coach and is a certified positive psychology and mindfulness
practitioner. He holds a Masters in Organisational Psychology and has worked
since 2006 as a Facilitator and Master Trainer with Dialogue in the Dark.
We welcome your questions for the guest speaker in advance - please include
them when you register. We will also have a chance to connect with each other
in smaller breakout groups.
Please use this link to register for the meeting and we will send you joining
details closer to the date:
