Dear Sir/ Madam,
My name is Tim Farrelly, I am an Engineering student from Trinity College.
Myself and two teammates have been working on a project called FOV (Field of
Vision).
FOV aims to produce a handheld tablet-like device aimed specifically at
blind/visually impaired customers. The device has a magnetic "finger piece",
which can move to any position on the "screen", allowing the user to track and
visualise sports matches and video-games
Ultimately our goal is to create the 'go-to' entertainment device for blind and
visually impaired customers, using new technology to enhance their experience -
and in order to do this, we would love to hear from and talk to some blind and
visually impaired people and get their opinions and feedback, and potentially
have them try out our product.
Currently we have a prototype made and are putting the finishing touches on it
before it can be tested (which should be quite soon). We have a survey attached
below and we would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to fill it
out.
And we would also really appreciate it if you think you might be interested in
trying out our product or even talking to us briefly over the phone. If so,

arrange.
