Hi Joe
I am no expert but I am a great fan of Podcasts. For example I use pod casts a
lot to keep up with politics (another big interest of mine). So I first had to
go to the generic Apple podcast app. I then tap search tab. I enter RTE radio.
It gives me a list of all the usual shows such as:-morning Ireland, drivetime,
today with Sean o Rourke et cetera. I tap each of the subscribe buttons. I
then go to the library tab. Each of the subscribed shows are automatically
updated there. There may be for example 12 different segments of the morning
Ireland show. I tap the ones I wish to listen to. I can increase the speed to 1
1/2 times. I can also rewind pause or fast forward. Radio four also has some
really interesting podcast. There are so many people on the list enjoying
podcasts according to their interests and passions. I am sure lots of them
could offer you help.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Podcasts!
Hope this helps Joe
All the best
Gerry

Hi folks,
I have decided to take a brave step and leap into the world of podcast. I am
a novice and very ignorant of the world of podcast. I would gratefully
appreciate all info on the subject. I note from recent correspondence on
this group two apps were mentioned, overcast and rss radio. What app would
be most suitable for someone like me. Do I have to pay for podcasts and is
there some kind of list to choose from.
Thanks for your help
Joe
