Hi Eamon and all,
QR code scanning natively by the iPhone's camera app is a cool and handy
feature indeed. One more thing here. Mind that it only works on iOS
version later than 11 (released in 2017) and in case your camera is not
picking up any codes, make sure this feature is enabled in settings. Go
to Settings then Camera and search for the "Scan QR Codes” toggle. Turn
that on.
PS: Eamon, you're welcome.
All the best,
Adrian

Hi folks, a couple of weeks back we were wondering in the Monday tech===========================================================
club, whether any specialised apps were necessary for an iPhone to
read QR codes. The answer would appear to be no! I was in a restaurant
yesterday morning in Malahide, and there was a leaflet on the table
displaying a QR code. I just opened my camera and pointed at the paper.
I did not take a picture. It brought me to a link. When I tapped on
the link it took me to the restaurant website; and I could read the
menu. The menu was very detailed including such facts as nutritional
value ,allergies etc. I didn't open any apps such as Envision nor
seeing AI.

PS: Adrian, many thanks for clarifying my question on Revolut and Apple
Pay.
Much
appreciated.===========================================================
