Hi Eamonn,
you got it right. Revolut is asking you if you want to add the card to
your Apple wallet. It does the same on Android phones where it asks to
help you add the card to Google Pay (Wallet).
Purchasing the extra storage shouldn't depend on adding the card to
Apple Pay unless Apple really wants you to use Apple Pay. You should be
able to pay online with a physical credit card and if it'll be a monthly
recurring payment, you can save the card details for Apple to charge it.
Not sure exactly about how iCloud works but likely saving the card
details will put the card in Apple Pay anyway.
Cheers,

Hi folks, I am wondering what is the advantage in adding your Revolut===========================================================
card to Apple Pay? When I open my Revolut app, sometimes I am given
this option. I am not sure of the exact wording. It could be add your
Revolut card to Apple Pay, or Apple wallet. I don't have any apple
wallet, and I have not used Apple Pay. I did have an iTunes gift card
with about €40 on it some years ago. I think I still have €5
remaining
I need to buy some storage on iCloud, but I'm not sure of the best way
of doing so. I believe it is 0.99 euro per month.
It would suit me if it came out of my Revolut account.
As ever, any advice will be most welcome.
Many thanks.
