Some other alternatives have a paid subscription.

Hi Monique
I have the Android but am not familiar with the Seeing AI on the iphone.
There are a few apps onr can try out.
1. Sullivan+ has an AI mode and is very accessible. It will identify and read
tests.
2. Lookout. I use this as it reads letters and bills very well. Worth trying
out.
3. Supersense is good for finding empty chairs and doors when out and about.
Useful to have when things are back to normal.
