Dear Soundscape,
I was extremely disappointed to learn that this brilliant App is being
discontinued. I even bought AirPods Pro so that I could use it to it's full
potential.
I'm a Guide Dog Owner and if it wasn't for this App I wouldn't have known
landmarks etc because of using Soundscape, and since losing my sight three
years ago, since I commenced using this VITAL APP, I was able to go out
independently with Minnie feeling confident knowing that I wasn't going to
get lost, and this really enhanced my independence and mobility even
further, and now I feel that it's been taken away from me because of it's
discontinuation.
I really liked the feature that everything was announced to me in 3D and
therefore I was able to know landmarks that were on my left or right or if
we were approaching a crossing or bus stop.
I really don't think you realise how VITAL and NECESSARY this App is to us
and how much of a MAJOR LOSS it is going to be for us without it.
If you could blindfold yourself for a day and use this App you would then
know how much it enhances and empowers our mobility and independence and
without it we are at a real disadvantage.
I really hope you consider this outrageous and ridiculous decision and
listen to your vision impaired and blind customers globally?
