Hi all.
I am enjoying using the Microsoft Soundscape app and am wondering what users
regard as the best headphones or Earpieces to use. I note that the optimum
recommendation is for Apple AirPods Pro or Max but have seen a positive
comment from Jackie about the Aeropex After Shokz bone-conducting headset,
available fron the N.C.B.I shop, I elieve.
The Apple ones are pretty expensive so I wonder how the two compare,
realising of course that probably none of you actuall have both. Since I am
unfamiliar with either one, are they easily put away when not required. I
mean, for example, when having arrived at a destination such as a social
gathering, can they be put away conveniently and tidily until required
again? How big are they and can they be stored in a pocket? Are they
secure in the ears? These questions applies to both the Apple and
After-Shock headsets as I haven't a clue what they are like. The only
experience of after-shock I have had is after reading some of Jackie's
wonderfully zany minutes of meetings, big smile.
I note from the same FB minutes from which I saw the After-Shock comments
from Jackie, that she has found Blind Square superior to Microsoft
Soundscape, reporting more details of specific surrounding places. What are
other peoples' experiences, as, as yet, I haven't downloaded Blind Square.
What map is Blind Square using and is it possible to download that specific
map to Soundscape?
I have a pair of earbuds which would almost certainly fall out at some point
during a journey and a pair of Sony headphones, far too bulky for practical
everyday use.
