Undo and redo an action in Microsoft Word
There are many general program shortcuts in Microsoft Word that make it
easier for you to do everything from save your document to undo a mistake.
Back in the times of typewriters, making a mistake when typing could be
quite problematic - it was much harder to correct an error printed on paper
than it is to correct one made while typing on a computer. In fact,
correcting a typo in Microsoft Word is one of the easiest and most useful
functions to access.
To undo an action, press Ctrl + Z (Cmd + Z on a Mac). To redo an undone
action, press Ctrl + Y (Cmd + Y on a Mac).
You can undo or redo many actions in Word, including changes made to font
size or formatting. By default Office saves the last 100 undoable actions.
