Hi folks,
these are rather old "hacks" but in case you never heard about them,
read this article [1].
In short: you can add a plus sign at the end of your username to make
another email address that's useful when you subscribe to newsletters or
marketing lists. Second, you can add a period anywhere in your username,
and it still works. You can even add a period in between multiple
letters of the username at once. In all cases, the emails get delivered
to your normal email address.
It makes it easier to later filter the emails coming through those new
addresses.
Cheers,
Adrian
