How to use Siri to find your AirPods or Apple devices
If you have numerous Apple devices it's easy to mislay them sometimes, this
is especially true when it comes to AirPods. Because they are small and
wireless it is easy to lose them, but hopefully not for long. When you
connect your AirPods to your iPhone they are synced with your iCloud account
and can be found in the Find My app.
So, you can say "Hey Siri, find John's AirPods". Siri will respond by saying
"looking for John's accessory", then it will add "John's accessory is
nearby, pinging it now!" AirPods will start to play a sound which will get
louder and hopefully help you to find them. Sometimes Siri can't locate the
accessories straight away, in this case Siri will ask you do you want me to
try and play a sound on it anyway, and you can respond with yes.
Find your iPhone using AirPods
This is a great feature of Apple AirPods especially for those times you have
left down your Phone and can't remember where.
While your AirPods are in your ears, activate Siri or say, "Hey Siri, find
my iPhone", then this will ping your iPhone and start to play a loud sound.
This even works if your iPhone is on silent.
Deleting a contact from the Contacts app on iPhone with VoiceOver
Open the contacts app by double tapping on it with one finger, or open with
Siri by saying "Hey Siri, open contacts".
Double tap on Edit (it should be located near the top middle of the screen).
Now flick right or move down to the bottom middle of the screen until you
hear delete and double tap on it.
You will be asked to confirm if you would like to delete the contact or
cancel, just double tap on delete again to confirm.
