It's Christmas time, and I know lots of you love to play Christmas music on
your Smart speaker. If you are a big fan of the popular charity station
Christmas FM, please note there has been a change in the way you can listen
on your Alexa device.
Like a lot of radio stations, Christmas FM has decided to create its own
skill, so instead of saying Alexa play Christmas FM you will have to say the
command "Alexa, open Christmas FM" and your Amazon smart speaker will
announce you are now listening to Christmas FM, Then all you have to do is
enjoy Christmas songs to your heart's content.
Please note, If you are a user of an Apple HomePod, if you say the command
"Siri, play Christmas FM" it will still work as it pulls the stream from
TuneIn radio.
If you want to have even more Fun with your smart speaker and you have Kids
in the House, try saying "Alexa, call Santa". This will get you straight
through to the North Pole for a fun message from Santa.
