Thanks for this Joe. I have made the change.
I notice from yesterday's Cork meeting minutes that some people seem happy
to hit the accept when agreeing to the new whatsapp and facebook regime. I
am not very happy about this change at all and may decide not to agree. It
is a pity because I use whatsapp regularly to keep in touch with my contacts
from abroad.
Thanks to Dominique and others on this list for bringing some alternatives
to our attention.
As Jackie mentioned in the minutes, all of us regularly hit accept without
reading the legal bits when downloading or accepting changes on apps and
programs. If we were to read everything, we would have no time for anything
else. The current problems on Government sites should make us more wary
though.
