That's very helpful Paul.
Thanks

Yes Joan Ann.
It is about 21 days. I have to say that the audiobook selection is a little
limited but the ebooks offer a lot more. The library give you a library
card and a pin for borrowbox and away you go.

Hi Paul
That's great.
Do you get a certain length of time to listen/read a book?
Thanks
Joan Ann.

Hi Eleanor
Thanks. I must have a look at IBooks too.
I have never used Overdrive. Is that an IPhone app as well?
Joan Ann.

I use RNIB Library and use their overdrive app but I think that is
changing at the end of this year beginning of 2019. never been
successful with NCBI of a drive as it never seemed that there was any
book
Calibre Library is another but again choice of books is fairly
limited. I also like using iBooks on my Apple devices. used to use
Kindle but again I think the books there could be got on I books.

Hi all
I enjoy reading and am interested to know the different ways people
access audio books and the devices you use to read them.
I am a member of audible and get 1 book a month. I listen to them on
the IPhone or on the Amazon Echo Dot. I find the audible app uses up
the battery on my phone quite quickly.
I also get Kindle books from Amazon and read them using the Kindle
app on the IPhone. Listening to VoiceOver reading a book takes a bit
of getting used to but it is fantastic to have access to a wide range
of books and not to have to wait for them to be released in audio.
I know that it is also possible to get audio books from your local
library using Borrowbox but I have never used this service so any
information would be good.
Kind regards
Joan Ann Brosnan.
