Lady Jackie, can I suggest that you get a crow guard for the top of the stove
chimney and that will stop birds in the stove.

Hello Everyone, One of my favourite films was a film titled.
The Bird Man of Alcatraz
Starring Burt Lancaster,
But now this has been overshadowed by today''s events.
A little bird came down Jackie''s chimney, and fell into her stove, scaring
the BJ'S out of her,
But resourceful as usual a terrified Jackie, then opened all her windows,
and strode manfully towards her stove, carefully opening the stove door, and
then running quickly to hide behind the nearest door, and the little bird
flew to safety out the nearest window.
Free Willie has nothing on today's events!!

And now to the tech class!
Mary has a problem, she ordered some free audio podcasts offered by Audible
.com, especially one done by Bonnie Greer.
BUT she cant download the podcasts, Bert/Martha, tried to find out whats
gone wrong,
By going to library, and then to download podcast, but when Mary clicks on
download nothing happens.
This will be looked at by several people during the week, to see what the
problem in downloading is,
Cearbhall shared a new key stroke, its (I gather after a call from Jackie,
that the key stroke that Cearbhall gave at the meeting is wrong), this
allows a person to save several notes in the forn of multiple clips onto the
clipboard, which can then be added to a document,
This can only happen when the pc is on, as the clipboard is part of the
cache memory.
So this is a toggle button.
Perhaps Cearbhall can give the correct key stroke to achieve this function
on the clip board to the list later.
It was Eamon who tried with the original key stroke from Cearbhall that
was giving access to other persons to access your computer.
There was a long discussion on recorders for the blind, Paul uses Just press
record, which he finds good as does Bert.
Bert says that this app is now available to record in stereo, that's good
For anybody doing music recordings.
Bob/Paul noted that the wonderful app recorder for the blind is only
available
To those using android technology, and is not available at present to apple
users.
Jackie shared that siri was a bit more responsive on her Iphone 11,
better than it was on her apple Iphone 7.
There was more discussion that blank e mail forwarded by Cearbhall
belonging to Bert.
It could be an Outlook issue.
Cearbhall told Tom, to move his phone around and make sure that the
microphone was on, so he could be heard more clearly.
This was achieved and Tom's words were heared more clearly again.
Congrats. To Joe, who became another co -host of our meetings. Well done Joe
Declan then reminded us of the retina conference next Saturday.
Declan brought along an update on proceedings at the forthcoming Retina Day
