Remember next Monday April 10th is Easter Monday and there will be no

The thorny topic of football commentaries on NEWSTALK, and RTE, CAME
UP, with Cearbhall giving out that the commentators spend more time
discussing topics other then following the game closely. Paul and
Bert, said that the Bbc 5 live coverage of premiership fixtures along
with Talk sport radio were fantastic.
They tell you the colours of both teams and which way they are
playing, following the ball at all times.
Conversation began with a discussion on Topping up phones for people
using Pay as you GO
Albert and Paul said that the Bank of Ireland no longer had a link on
their app or website to top up your mobile phone.
Martin still buys the top up facility from his local shop or post office.
It seems that one can do this through Vodafone as well.
Tom and Bert got talking about 5G and 4G .
For the moment. Bert told Tom, not to worry about getting 5G, it will
come sooner rather than later, but to continue using 4G.
There was a lot of talk on Bone conducting head phones.
The brand leader appears to be After Shock, which has a range of these
headphones, with a number of price points.
Cearbhall told us that he has a problem in logging onto the Zoom
website using voice over.
He can use Voice over until he reaches the Zoom site, then Voice over
cuts out, nobody could shed a light on this, but Cearbhall asks HEY
SIRI, to turn off VO, then asks again to put on Voice over again,
and the problem disappears.
Michael has a new machine bought through a contact friend of his, its
branded NUC, and is manufactured by Intel.
It is very small and neat and does everything a modern Laptop ccan
do, but could fit in your pocket, but of course you need to plug it in
or have a power pack.
It has Windows 10 and Jaws installed.
Good luck with this new machine Michael, and keep us informed as to
its performance.
Vera has a problem with her Iphone XR, or Iphone 1000.
When she switches it on, the screen is completely black. She can see
that there are phone calls coming in, as the phone vibrates.
Everybody had a go with coming up with a answer to her problem.
At first it looks like the Screen curtain is on, but this was ruled out.
Albert thinks that there is a problem with her screen.
He suggested she ring Apple help line in Cork. ##
Here they can take control of her smart mobile phone and find out what
is going on and correct the fault.
Don't eat too many Easter eggs, over the holiday period, leave some
in the shops for Jackie.
