There is a problem in listening to news talk through Alexa. Martin has
discovered the solution, ask Alexa to open or play newstalk fm from tune in.
This works as Paul tried this during the meeting and got newstalk loud and
clear.
Otherwise Alexa will open London newstalk instead of Irish news talk .
Cearbhall has a problem during the week with Excell. He put in the wrong
formula, and could not cancel the operation,
So had to wait for about 30 minutes until Excell had completed the
calculation.
Some key strokes were shared during this discussion like Insert key +shift
+letter R , to call out the various names of the rows
Also Insert key+shift key+letter c, which brings you into the column
entries. .
Cearbhall is designing some spread sheets for his wife.
Gerry wanted to know how to share an image on a website with another
person.
Gerry is using an Android smart phone. Declan said that he should do a
long click on the image and arrow right to the share button.
Gerry has enough sight to do this action without using Talk back.
Using Talkback, one should do a double tab and hold down the second tap
until the share button comes up.
Declan tried both of these actions successfully at the meeting.
Albert said another solution is to use Eloquence.
Bert also told us that the latest version of Jaws (Beta version), has a
feature like when
Using Zoom, one can have the audio from Zoom in one ear, and the Jaws sound
in the other ear.

There was a mention of Michael Lavin's walking group, who are looking for
people interested in walking and guiding. People can ring Declan for more
information.
There was an interesting discussion on Free Sat. It seems that a satellite
overlooking Britain, can also be accessed from Ireland, and those clever
people with technical skills using free sat, can access stations like bbc 5
live and channel 5.

Marian wanted some knowledge on alarms, anddoor ing apps.
Martin was very helpful here and gave her the phone number for an
installation expert on all things to do with security.
