Hi All, a very Happy Easter to one and all.
There were 11 participants today, and apologies were received as well.
Discussions got under way with a public relations onslaught from Lady W, who
was enthusiastically telling us of her new Hable Braille keyboard.
She is not long learning Braille, but has mastered this great product in a very
short time.
She has it paired to her Iphone 11 and can do her E- Mails using the Hable 1,
and also contribute to her Face book account.
It can be held in one hand and you use it vertically and there are keys on
both sides, making it very easy to use.
She is in a competition to see who is best at using this new product, and we
wish her good luck in the competition, where the winner will get a free Hable1
keyboard.
Bert took issue with her as he has a REVO keyboard about the size of a large
matchbox, and he can use this to sen
It was a very interesting clash of brands and unique comparison of gadgets. .
He can have his phone hidden in a pocket and use this micro keyboard to make
phone calls and send texts as well.
Martin is having trouble with his Alexa devices.
He has two, one upstairs and one downstairs. He plays a qui game called Feel
The Pressure, but Lady asks him to subscribe to the game, which is free, but
there is a premium edition which costs money. Martin says no to the premium
game subscription, but Alexa will not let him play the free game anymore, and
he cannot get her to move forward.
The device upstairs will let him continue with the free use of the game, but
his other device will not let him continue.
Cearbhall/bert told him to swap the devices to see if this would solve the
problem, while Stuart told him to power off and power on the faulty Alexa.
Martin will report back next week.
Tom wanted to know if Bone conducting earphones can be connected by Bluetooth
to Alexa.
Our tech genius Jackie confirmed that this was possible.
Tom also has another issue he also has two Alexa devices one in the bedroom and
one in the kitchen.
The one in the bedroom has a problem with the sound, it fades away after a a
short time, while the one in the kitchen remains with the sound clear and
strong.
Tom had Sky installed recently and Jackie thought this might have caused the
problem.
While Bert thought it was a Wifi issue.
Here again switching around the devices might cure the problems.
Some network people wanted permission to allow them to have wires and cables
crossing his house for some reason or another.
Paul suggested that he ask them to give him free electricity for a while as an
incentive to do as they requested.
Bert asked Paul what sports app did he have?
Paul said BBC SPORTS and the 42.
Bert said that the app Flash score was very good, giving results for English
soccer results as well as most Irish sports including Tables.
Jackie confirmed to Paul that online manuals for using Hable1 were supplied
with her new braille machine both for Android phones and Apple phones.
The cost of the Hable1 braille machine was 344â¬
Next up was a discussion batteries for the eyemate, and other products.
Thatâs all folks, donât eat too many Easter eggs!!
