Martin is being asked to pay 5.99⬠to operate his Eircom e mail account,
but Declan/Cearbhall suggested he opens a Gmail account
But must be careful to update his new email address to any subscriptions that
he may have opened.
Mary warned us of a whats app, called Argentina is doing this
Dont open this message as it will destroy your pc/smart phone with viruses,
and donât forward it on,
Declan/Cearbhall explaine the reading of website addresses, like
http and https, (the letter s denotes that it is a secure site.
Mary wanted to know if its possible to read a web address, letter by letter,
Declan said use the application key and go to copy
Hyper link address.
There was a long discussion on the rules governing g mail usage, like having
certain mails go into certain boxes like important /work etc.
One can select a particular folder to put certain mails into and have the
inbox custom made for their particular requirements.
Cearbhall has a problem with his beloved Logitech slim keyboard, he cant use
it any longer,
The batteries are moulded into the keyboard, and cannot be accessed by hand.
He bought it off Compu B, , which are now in administration. And he has not
been able to contact them.
H e has tried to pair it with other pcâs/phones,
But the lights flash saying it trying to connect but nothing happens. Bert says
that the keyboard is now faulty. And that the batteries are probably corroded
and rusted.
There was much discussion on HOT SPOTS, and Martin wanted to create a hotspot
in an outside room. This could be done by using the Router and mains power
supply to achieve a hot spot in the outside .room
Bert explaine again about PONTES MEDIA DOWNLOADER,
To access u tube videos, like Peppa pig (whatever your into Bert!!
Or Sightless cinema, .
Finally more discussion on the Orbit Braille reader, which Cearbhall and Bert
both use,
Bert has a similar problem to Cearbhall with an older version of Orbit, which
now cant work,
Something similar to the battery on Cearbhallâs Logitech keyboard.
Regards
Paul
