And Lady W (serving time for abducting a train!!Jackie reported that an app
she uses, is now a subscription app.
The app is called Myfinder, and is a cross between be my eyes and seeing ai.
It costs about 69€ per year or 6.99 per month.
Paul again mentioned Sullivan plus as a very good alternative to Seeing AI,
Its Sullivan Plus to recognise text and also Sullivan Plus to recognise
photographs.
Bert told Paul that the site www.rip.ie <http://www.rip.ie> was much more
accessible on the iPhone than on the desktop.
As Jaws was no use for this site.
Both Joe and Mary reported problems using Audible.co.uk.
Joe used to be able to ask Alexa to read a short extract from a book,
And Alexa would ask if he wants to purchase this book with one credit.
But now this facility does not appear to work.
Tom usually listens to Radio 4 extra, but now finds it hard to find.
Paul suggested going back to the menu on BBC Sound, where one can find the
schedules for all BBC stations, and one can arrow to the station you want like
bbc radio 4 extra.
Tom said that his battery was not lasting any kind of time,
Cearbhall/Bert told him to turn off Bluetooth and Locations services.
If you check the status bar at the top of your phone where the battery
percentage is shown, one can see if location services is turned on.
Paul uses location services when walking with soundscape, and then at the
status bar it will say location services.
But when finished with soundscape then the status bar will not have the word
location services.
There was nuch discussion on accessing bbc 5 live when its not available
through normal channels.
But the minute taker is not going to describe this as he might end up with
Lady W in you know where!.
Martin told us of his problem in walking through Heuston station, as he got
entangled in a café full of chairs and had to be rescued by a young lady.
When people get into trouble with street furniture, they should

Martin also recommended a book he was reading called Deadly divedents, by a
person called Pearson.
Bert again told us that one can go to the web browser Safari, and when you
go to a site you use often, one can go to a share link at the bottom and can
share it and install the site like an app on your smart phone,.
He has done this by creating an app called web folders were he can store all
those sites he goes to regularly. . .
