excellent minutes Paul. I got my flooring down and even though I'm in pain
right now I'm very happy with it all.

Apologies Lady Jackie and Lady W, busy laying some new floor covering in
their house.
Things got underway with a discussion on Ham Radio.
Information on Ham radio can be had from this website, www.fwl.ie
<http://www.fwl.ie>
It could be a life changing hobby for some people.
He said that a club was going to be formed for short wave radio listeners
soon.
Declan said that equipment to get started costs about 30€
But you could start by using the internet.
Bert says that using a ham radio in a built up area can cause problems with
other houses TV signal. While in rural areas like farmlands can be very
good, causing no problems.
Paul wanted to know more about Fusion. It’s a programme by Freedom
Scientific, combining the latest version of Jaws combined with the latest
version of Zoomtext.
Paul also wanted to know about the browser Microsoft Edge, it seems that a
number of people are using the latest browser, Edge without any problems.
Cearbhall pointed out that Microsoft Edge has an advantage as it is a built
in browser for Windows 10 , over all other browsers.
Microsoft Edge can also read PDF documents and this is another plus.
Declan pointed out a good feature for Firefox, one can enter in the search
box, @done deal, and this will bring you to the Done deal website without
going through Google.
Tom was complaining about the volume of sound dropping while using Zoom,
His voice over is over 50 percent down when zooming.
He might use a headphones to see if he can adjust the volume of sound.
Cearbhall also has this problem, and a number of solutions were suggested and
will bee tried and reported back on. Tom says this problem is found when
using his iPhone, and the problem is not half as bad while using headphones
on his laptop/desktop.
Declan told us of his latest purchase from Amazon, a pair of Gaming
headphones branded ANCHOR.
He used them today and the sound was very good.
There was some discussion on the Ruby camera. Declan found it good for close
up zoom to read and see photographs, its expensive, but a generous reduction
is available from sight and sound ending tomorrow.
The latest version of Jaws, jaws 21, has an artificial assistant called
Sharkey, and it can be called on to give you keystrokes you might need,
saving you time by not having to look up the key stroke.F
Regards
Paul
