Would you believe it, it’s the last day of winter!!
Well it is in my book , don’t believe all those meteorological guys saying
that winter ends on the last day of February.
Our intrepid traveller, Mary is back bronzed and beautiful from Spain, and as
usual has a question.
Mary has an Iphone 11, and she used to get a call, to say that she missed a
phone call , and there is a voice mail in her phone.
There was several calls that she missed while in Tenerife, and all the numbers
had the number 5 before Mary’s number.
All calls were from an unknown source, like landline calls.
The facility that she used to have seems to have disappeared, and nobody could
put a reason why this is not happening now.
Mary was paying 30€ per month to her service provider, but they have put her
monthly bill up to 35€ per month, perhaps these two issues are connected.
Joe has most of his problems with the provider 48 sorted out now.
48 uses the 03 line . and he had to add some change to have his voice mail
activated.
Also after a call to the Apple help line, he had his problem with what’s app
resolved. Joe only pays 11.99€ for his monthly account.
Stuart in the meantime says that the voice over on his iphone will not read the
account details of his Vodafone bill.
Declan suggested that he make a call to Vodafone and explain his problem, and
if no satisfaction ensues, he should phone and complain to com reg, the phone
regulator.
Mary is going to investigate GOMO as her service provider, they charge on
average about 14- 16€ per month but also will see if Vodafone will reduce her
bill again before she finally changes her provider.
Tom has a major problem, his ORBIT READER, will not charge up now.
Cearbhall/Stuart thought it was a battery problem, and they might need to be
replaced.
Tom will report back to the meeting.
Martin who was a little friskey !! today, bought himself a Bluetooth speaker
for Christmas. He paired it with whatever he was using very easily, the buzz
word he used was symbionic!!
Martin listened to that Molloy Bloom speech from James Joyce’s famous book,
and was symbionically moved. Eamonn wanted some information on saving the
European certificate indicaing that 3rd jab to an android phone and to an
iphone phone.
Paul/Cearbhall got E mails with an attachment and a qrt code . One must
delete the previous cert in that Convid app and then hold the phone towards
the screen and in front of the qrt code, and then the image willtransform again
into the Convid app.
Also you can print off the e mail and do the same thing another way.
