There were 8 Participants via Zoom for today's Monday meeting.
First we were treated to a cruise around Europe via Martin. He told
us of his visits to Cannes, Rome and Kosova.amongst the many places he
visited.
How he managed his walks around the cruiser, and the food and drinks
menu, to make all of us green with envy.

Following up on last weeks meeting, Mary reported back , that she
successfully cancelled her subscription to audible .com. She did this
on her Shop Audible App on her Smart phone Iphone 11.
Paul complained that after reading an autobiography on Barry Hern,
that he could not give his verdict on the book.
Normally at the end of a book, Audible invite you to give marks on the
book, like reader, content and so forth, but this did not come up at all.
Paul was very disappointed as the book was a very good read.
Martin back from chatting up some fine looking girls was having
trouble with his Blind Shell phone.
He dropped his phone in that room where all men are equal, and now it
will not charge.
The consensus was that the batteries were put in wrong and this is
why the phone will not charge up.
Mary who joined the Zoom MEETING BY CLICKING the link in her E
mail, was asked to update her Zoom settings.
She could not do this as some other text appeared on her screen, but
voice over would not read that particular message. to her.
Paul told her to rout her Jaws cursor to the PC CURSOR. , which might
read the text for her.
Ken said that using control plus the windows key and the enter button
will engage the screen reader Narrator.
This inbuilt windows screen reader should read that bit of text for her.
Mary reported that she had no problems after updating to IOS 16.
Ken on the other hand reported after updating to version 16 , his
smart phone batteries were lasting longer after a charge up
Joe has problem after updating to IOS 16, his Whats app messages are
being read in full.
To correct this open Whats app, then settings, notifications and go
Preview on, off, or never. .
Here select never and this should correct that problem.
Paul thought this might have happened if Whats app, was not closed
when updating to the latest version of IOS.
That's all folks

Paul
