Annette has a problem, her iCloud is almost full (96%
She has over 1700 photoes there,
And wants to create more memory space .
Michael spent considerable time in helping her to subscribe to Dropbox.
Go to Safari, and type in www.dropbox.com,
She did this and found difficulties in creating a new account.
She entered her first name, then her second name, and was asked for her e-
mail address, which she provided.
Finally she was asked for a password, which she created and entered.
It transpired that her e mail address had been used before and that she had
a previous dropbox account.
She has downloaded the app, and can use the free storage to place some
photos there in her dropbox account.
Cearbhall joined us on speaker phone, and suggested that she take a look at
her albums on the iCloud,
And those she does want can be placed in a new favourite album folder.
The rest can then be deleted. The deletion takes place, but there is a grace
period of 30 days, in case she makes a mistake with her selection.
She is part of a whats app group that share photos, and ways were looked at
to stop those photos going onto her i CLOUD,
IT'S WORK IN PROGRESS.
Paul wanted to know how to rtturn an audio book to www.audible.co.uk,
Declan gave Paul a way to do this using his desktop computer to go on line,
And to try and follow his instructions, and Paul will try this later.
Eamon wanted some information on getting a new iPhone,
Paul/Cearbhall were encouraging him to get the 10x,
But he was thinking more of an Iphone 8 (the last model with a home button,
Paul said the absence of a home button was not a problem,
As he had a go with a 10x, and could work it well without a home key.
