Following on from Doms excellent notes on the meeting regarding the apple
Health App there is an equivalent one for the Android call Google fit.
After putting in your height and weight when signing in and it does help to
be honest, the app will measure the distance you walk, calories you burn and
the number of steps you have taken. You have a daily target of 10,000 steps
which is equivalent to walking about an hour and a half. This target is not
based on science or medicine so take this with a grain of salt So for the
Android users, download this app from the Play store, allow this to access
to location in your setting, do the weight and height thing, and start
walking off your Easter eggs over the weekend. Traveling in a car or a bus
will not count as this app uses all the movement sensors on your phone and
knows when you are definitely not walking.
