You have really arrived now! Well done!
When you take the phone out of the house, the iPhone will, of course, lose
the internet connection. If you are still receiving emails when there is no
connection, then you are using data. If you have a sufficient allowance like
"all you can eat data" in 3 network, this won't matter.
The internet should connect automatically when you come within range of the
router.
We'll talk about it tomorrow.

Subject: [fb-exchange] iPhone progress
Following on from the trouble that I was encountering, I'm delighted to
report that it is now successfully resolved.
I managed to switch the typing mode that was on "Touch,, to, Standard",
which is the one I prefer, and can use more confidently and efficiently!
In Speech I turned "Speech Selection" from, "on, to, off". This I
discovered is why it was reading, and deemed a word, even , if I only typed
one letter.
I turned "Speak auto text", from, "on, to off". And it's perfect now when
I'm typing, the way I like it!
I put in the UPC Password, it was called out to me, and I'm connected again
now!. I did this previously, but for some reason, when I turned on my phone
the following day, it wasn't connected, and was saying, "Connect to a
Wireless Connection". Even though my e-mails were still coming through! Now
I'm wondering as I'm Pay as you go, am I being connected even if I'm not in
my UPC area, and therefore being charged anyway. I just hope that it stays
this time!
