Hi PaulThanks for this report. One thing that was brought up two weeks ago at
an exchange meeting by an android user was how to turn off predictive text when
sending texts by sms on such cheeky smartphones. The general way is to go first
to setting. This can be done in two ways: 1 - swipe down from the top and click
on the cog icon or 2- go to all apps tray by tapping on the icon above the home
icon and scrolling down to the setting app. In setting, scroll down to
Language and keyboard. It may also be called Language and inputs. Tap on the
phone model input such as Samsung input or HTC input. Hopefully the predictive
text or word prediction is easy to find on your phone. If you cannot find it as
I had difficulty on mine google how to turn off predictive text and the phone
make and model. In my case I found it under HTC Input and then Advanced and
there I found word prediction which I then turned it off.
