Mary showed us her new Shock wave bone conductor ear phones,
Which were purchased from Harvey Norman in Rathfarnham.
Although they were expensive around 79€, they were brilliant,
They sit at the bone of the ear, and do not need to go into the ear,
They click and hang around the ear causing no discomfort, and allowing the
listerner to hear outside sounds as well.
As one who gets constant itching in the ear from using ear phones, these could
be a good investment. Thanks Mary.
Paul has a problem, after being entered on the Blind group whats up,
When he goes to do a whats app message to a single person, siri says what do
you want to say to the group,
Despite this , siri will send the message to the individual person,
But Paul wanted to know, how he could get siri to stop saying , what do you
want to say to the group.,
Settings were checked in whats app, and in Siri,
But nothing worked to change the situation.
Mary has a problem with using Apple pay,
She contacted her bank, and set up her apple pay on her Iphone 6 plus,
But visiting a hairdresser and a chemist shop, the apple pay
Did not work.
She tried it in Fighting blindness, but although they are set up
To handle Apple pay, it did not work there either.
Declan /Cearbhall/Paul, spent considerable time on this,
Checking settings in Wallet, Apple pay,
But to no avail, it is work in progress.
Mary also has a problem with listening to her choir musical score in her
Dropbox,
She normally listens to a piece, and then goes back about 20 seconds or so
To listen again and learn the lyrics, but now when she does this, voice over
counts the seconds out aloud, until it arrives back where she stopped
originally.
This did not happen before but voice over began to behave recently
In this manner.
Again settings were checked for Dropbox, and in the voice over section,
But nothing that we tried so far would correct this very irritating problem.
