Discussions were opened by bert, who was in a very active help mode,
introducing all to a few new apps:
eg blind space: real time ireland, (which gives the times for the luas, bus
eireann, and country trains. as well as dublin bus.
following this there was a lively talk on using face time , using e mail
contacts.
after this discussions centered on that app. lire(news feeds from a variety
of papers.
albert demonstrated this and we saw him create a news folder, and entered the
folder to listen to some news feeds and ddelete those he had listened to or
had no interest in their content.
cearbhall had trouble in installin lire, and bert engaged in helping him whith
this problem.
the meeting concluded around 12.45 to allow one of our members to get ready
for an important gig at the famous j. j. smith venue in aungier street,
those of us who attended were treated to some famous musicians and none more
famous than
our very own flamenco genius C Cearbhall, who played some brilliant falmenco
numbers,
and instructed all and sundry on how to clap the spanish way as an accompanny
