Just a reminder to all League members - a meeting takes place this Friday
evening 1st March 2019 commencing at 6:30 sharp. It is a general meeting of
members to discuss a proposal to merge with Fighting Blindness. We would
like as many members as possible to attend this meeting so that we as a
Board can gauge the overall feeling about what is being planned.
After the meeting refreshments will be provided and the bar will be open and
we hope to have a sing-song. If you intend attending the meeting and you
require refreshments please either phone the League on 01 - 8742792 or
e-mail the office on nlbi@xxxxxxxxxx <mailto:nlbi@xxxxxxxxxx> leaving a
message with your name and your intention to attend the meeting no later
than tomorrow evening (Wednesday 27th February). If the phone is not manned
at the time that you call just leave a voicemail message. We need actual
numbers for catering purposes.
Please be aware that the latest date for renewing membership of the League
for 2019 is 31st March 2019. Members cannot avail of optical, dental or
medical grants for this year unless they have renewed their membership by
this date. Membership renewal for 2019 can also be arranged on this Friday
night.
