I tried that and it’s fine now. So it was such a simple thing as the volume all
along, I never thought of that although it seems obvious now!

I am using an iPhone 6s with iOS 11 software. The sound is not coming to
the speaker but only comes through the headphones although when I put my
ear up to the speaker I can hear a hissing sound which suggests that it
still works although There doesn’t seem to be anything to change this in
the settings menu although I did try call audio routing but that didn’t
make any difference. Does anyone know how I can fix this or has anyone had
this problem before.

As soon as we have another batch we will bring them up to Dundalk.
