My information as listed on both spreadsheets is correct.
The first spreadsheet has 106 names, many of which have an "X" beside many
names, indicating no info in the AFS directory, yet I recognize many of the
names. Does the AFS no longer keep information on ALL former students? Or
do they now only maintain a database of those who graduate?
Also, Otto has a section labeled "Who are these guys?" I again recognize
many of the names.
Since there are 106 names and I know that many did not finish 4 years in
the Corps, I can only assume that Rayfield must have maintained a copy of
ALL September '73 fish and that is the basis for the list generation. I
kinda, vaguely remember a couple of the names as MAYBE being 2 of my first
3 ol' ladies who bailed the first month, but I never really made an effort
to remember those who left, especially the last one, who bailed through the
window in the middle of the night while I was sick with 104ºF fever.
