It was recently announced that the Aunt Jemima brand, which was slated for
retirement due to social issues, has now officially been "rebranded" as Pearl
Milling Company.
I'm hoping that there's some sort of corporate or organizational significance
to the new name, because it sure is generic. I could have come up with five
new names for them in five minutes that are better than Pearl Milling Company.

Very bored in DFW. We are doing OK.
Friends have no power, frozen water pipes, daughter in Houston has no water,
daughter in Austin, no heat for 3 days, friend slipped on ice broke elbow,
another friend with flooded downstairs.
We had power for breakfast! Wife made Aunt Jemima pancakes. Mmm!
OK I will buy a sissy drink for the first BQ buddy who can tell us the lyrics
of the 1967 Aunt Jemima commercial jingle.
