Fantastic news. I guess I misunderstood, because I thought the first $1000
over $25,000 would automatically go to a scholarship. I didn't know that we
had to designate as they went in. I would be happy for my last $200 to be part
of the funds for this fall, or even go back and retroactively use my original
gift.

To date there is $29,202.31 in the account. Please note that none of these
funds are on the “income” side of the account, they are all on the endowed
side. There was a recent contribution that would cover the fee and the first
year stipend. Would you like for me to reach out to that donor and ask if his
gift can be applied to the income side?
