The account has received $24,100.77!
That's so exciting and fast! Some of these types of pooled scholarships take
years to reach that amount. If anyone is interested in donating more, please
have them do so. Additionally, if someone would like to donate to the "cash"
side of the endowment, that will speed up the disbursement process. Once the
funds reach $25K, the development fee is paid off first via the interest
earned and then the scholarship funds are put into the cash side. All
donations to this point are for the endowment side and we do not use the
endowed funds.
