I plan to send the extra, even if some other gifts are still in the pipeline.
As I understand, the recipient will get 4% of the total endowment each year, so
another $200 will buy him/her another Big Mac every year.

and begin awarding funds in 2022?

Total: Approximately $2,000 more, and we have a scholarship in 2021, and for
years after.
I'm in for another $200 over my original gift.
