Thanks David,
Can we designate the money go to a cadet, BQ who actually gets off of academic
probation? You know, after she/he gets their grades back up?
Am serious here. I know several of us on this list can relate… this is a
fitting tribute to our class and our times there.
I never had to study in HS, and being whistle jock in the spring semester
almost killed me. Took me until spring '75 to get off of probation.
Count myself damn lucky that I didn’t miss a semester in 4 years.
By Zip year I was OK, 3.0+ and actually graduated first in my class in grad
school, many years later.

Guys,
We are putting the final touches on establishing the scholarship
The one thing that is bugging me is the GPA requirement, exceeding the
average GPA of our class especially fish and pisshead years
I’d like to propose we don’t increase the requirement beyond the
foundations’s of 2.3 for a Sul Ross, or. 2.5 for a Rudder
It just seems to me a lot of money gets thrown at the 3.5 -4.0 crowd and
little to guys like the majority of us.
