Groad,My best answer is "Yes". Brazosport is more of an area than a specific
town. It includes Freeport and other towns in the area like Clute, Lake
Jackson, Surfside, etc. But I believe his actual town was Freeport.

Danny, Using Ancestry dot com I located the Bloomfield NJ high school
yearbook for’73 with pictures and our Dan was President of the Math Club, ran
track and was in the band. I haven’t been able to run him down yet, but there
was an Ellen Prusinski in the MathClub who I think is a PhD at Centre College
in Kentucky. If she is also from Bloomfield, hopefully she can help me find
Dan. Groad

I have looked for years to find Dan. He just vanished from the face of the
earth. He was on a 4 year AF scholarship. So I have tried to look thru Air
Force personnel pages, but without something more than Dan Sullivan and
Bloomfield NJ, not making any progress.

too. I would give anything to reconnect with Danny Sullivan. He was a great

Thanks for this Ed. I didn't recall at all that Mike had continued at A&M. I
don't ever remember seeing him on campus, but that doesn't mean anything. His
picture was in our fish "Aggieland", in his uniform.... Holmes, David M., from
Killeen... and again in the senior Aggieland as a non-reg.
As for the stoned dog... Knowing Mike, that was completely appropo'.....

Bill,
Great memory. I didn’t remember about the HOLMES towing thing. I do remember
his Camaro. He continued at A&M and likely graduated. Stuntz used to see him
all the time into our white belt years. Mike had a Chinese american girlfriend
named Colleen. And a dog that used to get stoned. The things we know about each
other in 73 to 77 are incriminating!
Whatever happened to Tom Reed?

Yeah, Mike Holmes was a free spirit. What I remember about him (and correct me
Edo if I'm wrong) was that either his father or grandfather had developed and
manufactured a towing system that was widely used on tow trucks.... you could
see them everywhere, had a big "HOLMES" across the top. So, Mike didn't want
for financial resources... had a pretty new Camaro IIRC. I don't know how long
into our fish year he lasted, but I do know he didn't return in the fall of '74.
