You itemize? You must be one of the .01%. Standard Deduction for me since the
last tax cut.

Thanks, Steve. I probably stole the idea from you.
I wonder if we can get together a mailing list for the relatives of those who
have already passed. Would be nice to notify them if we managed to get this
started.

Dean - you know I'm in. As I suggested the last time, I suggest a perm endowed
Aggie Band Class of 1977 Memorial Fund for Our Departed Comrades. I'm already
at "who's in and how much." Cheers, Steve

Dean;
It is a great thing to do. My Wife's Brothers/Sisters did that in honor to
their parents. Easy to do and you get a message every year on who the
scholarship goes to and a little about the recipient.
It is fairly easy. Just send your money in to the Foundation with the
name/code and they get it all set up.
I think a BQ77 Scholarship would be great. You can even earmark it to a person
in the Band as the recipient if you want.

Posted the below to Facebook, putting it here for the Luddites (cough/Ed/cough)
who don't do the Book of Face.
Opinions welcome.

My discussion about Marlon and Marlon's brother made me think of another
thought that's been rolling around my empty skull.
So we've done a few things in honor of our deceased brothers. I'm good with
all of those, and I appreciate the folks who worked to get those accomplished.
But I was wondering about a permanent scholarship fund. Instead of coming up
with a new project every time one of us makes The Last Corps Trip, we can
memorialize our fallen classmate with a gift to the fund. The sadness of more
of us passing would be a bit offset with the fund growing and benefiting a
current student.
Obviously we can restrict it to a current BQ, if we wish. The gifts would
remain in the endowment, any interest/dividend to the scholarship.
If there is interest, I can find out the particulars from my niece,
