Greetings Fellow Toastmasters,
I am your toastmaster on 02 Jan 2020.
This is also our white elephant gift exchange meeting and I've decided to
change our meeting from what is normal. There will be no roles assigned
except for a timer in which I will assign just before the meeting. If you
are a member expect to give a speech. Length of time will be determined by
how many people are in attendance. Be prepared and be amazed. Theme will
be goals and resolutions. The 2nd hour of the meeting will be our white
elephant. As Robin has reminded everyone, bring your junk, I mean gift. I
will go over the rules when we meet. Depending on how many people are in
attendance, be prepared to give a 2nd speech (one to two minutes) on what
your surprise gift is or is not. Just a hint as to what is considered NOT
a good gift. A half eaten ham sandwich with mayo and mustard. Batteries
that you've been storing in your refrigerator before the energizer bunny
was born. And your empty beer can collection. See you Thursday.
And if anyone wants to volunteer to be my timer, please let me know.
