Good Morning FRTM Toasties!
I just wanted to let you know I will not be at our regular meeting this week, I
am planning to attend the Howl at the Moon networking event…I have never
attended and no time like the present!
The Spring Conference was totally awesome! The people and the energy was
intoxicating! Lori, Marietta, Colette, Robin and I were all heavily involved
and did our part as volunteers to help make the conference a success!
Front Range Rocks again! I am so dang proud of our Club!
Ø Conference Events Director - Lori – Put on an amazing conference! Way to go
Ms Lori! You never disappoint!
Ø First Timers Chair – Robin McIntosh lead this effort, holding 2 meetings and
Lori and I helped and sat with First timers for 2-dinners and lunch – Excellent
Job Robin, Lori & Colly!
Ø Banner Parade – Colette was in charge, I assisted her organizing people to
get in proper order and Robin Carried BOTH of our Banners – Great Job Colly and
Robin!
Ø Dignitary Processional Coordinator – Kath announced each dignitary for
dinner last night – Love it! Colette helped me organize people to get in line
and proper order – Thanks Colette I couldn’t have done it without you! ☺
Ø PR for the District – Marietta who took care of Daniel Rex and his TMI team
– Way to Go Marietta!
Daniel Rex CEO of Toastmasters International was a phenomenal speaker! He had
about 6 or 7 of his Denver team attended the conference who moved from CA to
CO…I met with just about all of them and a few are planning to visit our club
at some point…to cool for words! Also Tours of TMI’s new Denver home will
begin June 1 and I would like to organize a Front Range Tour – Stay tuned! ☺
Our basket for the Silent Auction got top billing with the most bidders– I
think it went for $110 but who knows it could be more, Trixie who managed the
silent auction said she will let me know – I took a pic of it when it was at
$95 . . .Check it out!
