Hello Toastmasters,
I'm filling in for Susie. Thursday's meeting was, as usual, excellent. We
had one guest, Josh. There were many great lines so I've decided as the
temporary secretary to give an award for the most memorable line of the
night. No ribbons, only a citation of your greatness.
The theme was Valentine's Day and *Richa Acharya* was the Toastmaster who
provided us a lot of trivia fun facts. For example, 36 million boxes of
heart-shaped chocolates were sold as a result of last week's holiday. ❤
Grammarian: intrepid *Alan Wong.*
Timer/Joker: *Pattie Apple* with the preacher in the arms of another man's
wife.
Inspiration: *Jeff* *Stoll* – What happens when a potato, an egg, and
coffee beans are put in boiling water?
Ah Counter: *Jonathan Kolber *caught all of our umms.
Gesture Master: *Lori High *that's a wimpy way to crack an egg.
Quizmaster: *Ashley Hertzler* with her listening ears.
Speeches
*Jennifer Dunner* – Adventures in Sous Vide – named in French otherwise
marketers wouldn't be able to justify the hefty price tag. Evaluated

Jewby *two Valentine's Days in a row. Good thing she is funny.
*Colette Smith* – Visit British Columbia Q&A – unbelievable outdoors,
Silverstar, and 7 Lakes, but don't forget Sasquatch. Evaluated by *Robin

*Bill Farrand* – The Night Spirit Landed On Mars – the best historical
stories are ones told by the people who were there. Evaluated by *Jeff
Stole. *Great besides too much Arnold Schwarzenegger.
*Luis Estrada* asked great table topic questions related to Valentine's
Day. He wasn't trying to get anyone in trouble when asked our guest his
favorite Valentine's Day. Of course, it was every Valentine's Day he
celebrated with his beautiful wife Ashley.
