Range Toastmasters -

Do you want to be a Club Officer and become part of the Leadership Team?  Do
you want to get involved, help make decisions for the betterment of our Club?
Well guess what?  Now is your chance to be an Officer of Front Range
Toastmasters! It is that time of year for Club Officer Elections . . .I plan to
be your Toastmaster on June 7, so expect changes regarding Speaking Roles.  I
believe all other roles will be needed to have this meeting.

Election Date:  Thursday, June 7, 2018

ü  Nominations

o   You can Nominate Yourself to run for an Officer role

o   You can Nominate a Member of the Club to run for an Officer role

o   Please submit your Nomination to only me (Kath) no later than this Friday,
June 1. . .If  you are nominated by someone else, I will contact you for your
Acceptance or Declination.

ü  Speeches

o   [cid:image018.png@01D3F65D.D6166660] Can be given by those who have
accepted nominations

o   Can be given by another member to speak on behalf of a member who has been
nominated

ü  Quorum to Vote

o   We have 22 members in our Club

o   We need at least 12 Members to be in attendance in order to have an
election - let's pack the house!  :)

ü  Members must be in Good Standing to Run for Office

o   Membership must be current

o   Dues must be paid

ü  Save-the-Date | Saturday, July 14

o    The Current and New Officers will have a Transitional Party at the home of
Current Secretary Colette Smith
