Front Range Toastmasters . I hope you all enjoyed Kathy Barrett's meeting
last night as much as I did! It sure was FUN!

Kathy . We ALL thank you for sharing The POWER of Positive Thinking! You are
a walking testimony to the power this can have in our lives!

. FRTM: Consider yourself challenged .We all have SO many things to
be thankful for, focus here...it will chase away those blues!

Our Speakers: Dawn George, Danielle Edmonds and Ray Pezolt were at the TOP
of their game!

. Dawn showed us how to counter those thoughts that hold us back in
life. That it is OK to get up and allow yourself to a "Do Over" whenever you
think you have gone just slightly off track.

. Danielle taught us how to make the MOST of our Stone fruit season
and... sampling the fruits has become a FRTM tradition that is Simply... To
Die for!

PS: We all THANK YOU for the scrumptious Pie! ;0)

. Ray took home the Best Speaker Award with his topic: Famous
Failures. We learned SOME modern inventions may have gone unknown if not
for the dreams realized by this Who-Who's list! Most of his Famous Folk
never made it through High School! So, my friends it just might be true when
they say... "Everything I needed to know, I learned in the third grade"
Think about it!

Crystal Baker lead us in a round of TableTopics that provided an insider's
look at her patients Mental Condition.

o Doctor Doctor, give me the News....Our ribbon for Best TableTopics went
to: Luke Vesely for his Bad case of Lovin' blues

Our Best Evaluator Award went to Amelia for her Evaluation of Ray Pezolt.
And, that is no easy task! It was clear to see how being a long time TM
prepares you with critical thinking skills and evaluation techniques that
help even the MOST seasoned of speakers improve their game!

GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!! There was definitely a BUZZ of energy with every seat
filled! We are SO Thankful that you all attended and trust that the Theme:
Attitude of Gratitude planted seeds to help you remember how important it is
for each one of us to Accentuate the Positive.

I know our Toastmaster for the 8/5/10 meeting will be looking to fill the
schedule with another FUN and educational venue. If you are scheduled to be
a Player next week. please confirm your roles with the TM ASAP and it is
with GREAT anticipation that I look forward to our next meeting.

I encourage each one of you to. Show, Play, GROW!

I hope you all have a WONDERFUL weekend!

Journal Entry 7/30/2010 .......

I am SO Grateful that today is Friday! I plan to spend time with loved ones
to refresh my Spirit this weekend. After my FRTM meeting last night I was
reminded how important showing & sharing gratitude is in my life - a
positive attitude makes life more meaningful and manageable. I learn SO much
from the meetings and they are uplifting at the same time! I look forward
to spending time with my FRTM friends again next week, I just don't want to
miss a meeting! Lord, give me the courage to challenge myself every day to
be better, do better and always have an Attitude of Gratitude!
